The success of the FM-JD Area Meals on Wheels program depends on the 125 plus volunteers who commit time to ensure homebound people live independently and not in isolation. Therefore, we are very flexible and truly appreciative for whatever time you are able to offer us. We schedule only when you are able to volunteer.

Volunteer positions:

• Kitchen (preparing and packing meals and cleaning up)
• Drivers - while many volunteer regularly, from once a month to twice a week, we also need substitute drivers, which works well for those with irregular schedules. Because volunteer drivers use their own vehicle and gas, we are able to offer meal service on an extremely competitive and low cost basis.
