Each weekday morning, a team of kitchen volunteers, prepare both hot and cold meals for delivery. During the lunch-hour, a second team of volunteer drivers using their own vehicle delivers the meals. The drop-off provides not only an important opportunity for a wellness check but a few minutes of social chit chat between an appreciative client and the Meals on Wheels volunteer.
